Caldwell Pink – Polyantha – aka ‘Pink Pet’
An “Earth Kind” Rose
I love the “button” center on this rose.
The combination of these two roses make a great jelly jar bouquet.
This rose forms the most magnificent sprays on blooms right on the bus. You could cut the entire spray and place in a vase. This one had over 50 blooms!
Now, if I could just get my hybrid teas to do that!
This rose is part of the Earth Kind Series of roses. Very hardy and disease resistant, they almost thrive on neglect. I never spray this rose for disease or pests and apply only an annual application of composted cow manure to fertilize. I wait to prune this rose AFTER the first flush of blooms, as it always tends to throw out come new unwieldy canes that I will want to try to keep in check.

Those are lovely Chris
I have those beautiful roses growing along the old loading chute and they put on a beautiful showing of blooms It’s the one on the home page of http://www.authentichavenbrand.com also pictured in my “way up high” I shared a few days ago on my #gardenwalk
You know how I love a button eye.
I love the combination of your Caldwell Pink and The Fairy. I will remember this combination for my own garden. Your roses are lovely and don’t seemed to have suffered from the hight heat, humidity, and droughty conditions we have had.
This rose is almost toooooo beautiful. Love it.
