After a long dry spell that brought temps in the 100′s for days on end, we finally saw some rain this week. Since Tuesday, it has rained each day for at least an hour. We have been watering the garden daily and it just seemed to allow the plants to stay alive. With the rain this week, everything is springing back to life! The cooler temps have also been a welcome change. I snapped this photo yesterday on my morning garden walk. Hope you have a great weekend.

Hey Chris,
Your roses look absolutely beautiful all the time. It is almost impossible for me to control the black spot on mine. What am I doing wrong? I had to move to the antique ones, but even they suffer.
Sorry I’ve missed you at the B’ham plant show the past couple of years. Life has been chaotic, but things are getting better. Maybe I will see you next year. :0)
Glad you got some much needed rain Chris. Please send it up this way.LOL!
Oh, how pretty, the rain on your rose. I can almost hear it singing, ‘aaaah, lovely’. Glad you’re getting some rain now. What a pretty name for that rose too.
We FINALLY got a good rain this morning! We are so very sandy here, 2 miles from Mobile Bay, that when it does not rain for 3 days, we have to start watering young plants. I smile to think of your garden coming to life. Praise God!
Thank you so much. I have been in a state of “jubilee” all week with this rain coming down… We water tirelessly and yet it is nothing compared to that which comes from above….
Showoff! Send some north and west please.
Doing a rain dance for you…..
