The people who come and go as we live our lives have such an impact. Oftentimes we fail to recognize their impact until later. In this short video clip shot at the recent Birmingham Home & Garden show i’m relating the story of how I stumbled across the first rose I ever had the privilege to care for. My neighbor Mrs. Dodd was instrumental in revealing this hidden beauty to me and I am forever grateful for her presence in my life.
