Well, it’s happened. At last! This is first day of the year that I can sit on my screened porch, drink a cup of coffee, read the paper, my devotion, enjoy the sun, and watch the birds. This, like my daily garden walk, is a ritual for me during the Spring, Summer and Autumn months.

I must tell you that this was a welcome treat for me after what I have perceived to be the longest winter known to man…..

    >Am feling much the same. have mangaed to sit out at midday when the sun on the balcony is at its strongest. But my real "first day" is the day I can have my breakfast out there. So far, my earliest date is March 24th. Who knows this year …?
