>New Roses For My Garden

Today my son and I ventured over to Hanna’s Garden Shop to check out the selection of roses. Wow! Do they have roses!!!!

I am trying to add in white colored roses this year. I selected the following:

I purchased “Moondance”. I have heard good things about this rose from many rose growers I know. They say it makes a great garden rose, the blooms of which are exhibition quality.

I also purchased an “Iceberg” rose. This rose also comes highly recommended. I have a friend who is in charge of flowers at their church, she has well over 100 of these in cultivation. They provide an abundance of blooms for many a Birmingham Wedding………

I will be planting these tomorrow. It was an awesome day in Birmingham. Sunny skies, warm. Makes me want to grab my pruners and cut my roses for Spring blooms. I dare not, though.
