>New Rose – Buff Beauty

>I only bought two items at the sale this past weekend. A iris and a rose.

The iris is “Laced Cotton”. A white iris. I have no white iris and had wanted one for some time.

The rose is “Buff Beauty”. A Hybrid Musk. I read on Garden Web that this rose can sprawl 8×8 if left to grow. Does anyone grow this rose? It has a nice bloom and some fragrance.

Little by little the Old Garden Roses are winning me over!!!!!

  3. >Chris, I grow Buff Beauty in the cool Pacific Northwest and it is an admirable bloomer with a nice fragrance. It sprawls nicely but is totally manageable with minimal thorns, tending to grow arching out more than up. Good luck!
