>Roses Planted

“Caldwell Pink” – Earth Kind Rose

In between the rain showers that have been intermittent since Friday noon, I was able to plant the 3 “Caldwell Pinks” around the gas lamp post and should grow up together and form a nice round shrub in the front yard.

Bob Eskew, a fellow rosarian gave Tina “Soroptimist International” Miniature rose at the close of the Rose Show and I got it planted at the side of the driveway.

After hearing the adivce of several online friends, I decided to relocate the “Buff Beauty” the the back side of the back yard fence, where it will have plenty of room to spread it’s wings.

I stopped at Hanna’s Nursery today and picked up one more “Golden Celebration” rose. This will complete my triangle of this rose. I am loving these David Austins. I can report that I do seem to be seeing some buds on the other two. Could this mean a repeat bloom on these roses?? Hope so!
