>If I Could Grow Just One Rose….

What a question, huh? I have been asked this many times in the past few years. I always struggled to answer. What would your answer be?

For me, I think it would be “Double Delight”. It satisfies the senses. It is a beautiful sight to behold and the scent on this rose is heavenly. I look forward to seeing your responses.

    >Wow, this is a tough one and a question that I'm happy we don't have to answer in real life. My answer to this question varies at different times, but right now Belinda's Dream is at the top of my list. She's blooming like crazy in my hot, humid weather and has nice fragrance, though not as good as Double Delight. No disease at all and lush growth.

  2. Jim says:

    >Not fair. It is like picking which child you like best. But, La Reine does it ALL for me. Though, I'll not throw the rest of my lot out with the bath water.

  3. Danny says:

    >I love D Delight too, each flower unique. Any rose without scent is like a pretty face without a personality. My favourite rose that shocks my senses "Louise Odier". Keep up those gorgeous pics….Danny-Toronto Canada

  4. Jennifer says:

    >I'd have to say my J&P Chicago Peace. I can't beat it for fragrance, color and general non-fussiness for a HT. I just prune it back hard and it rewards me with blooms until frost.

    >Something voluptuous with many, many soft creamy petals blushed with pink. It would have shiny, healthy leaves and have few thorns. It would be a shrub rose that never gets black spot. And it would bloom continuously in hot, humid summers! I don't know its name! Can you tell me?

  6. >I agree Double Delight has it all.
