>More Mutabilis

>In this post I will attempt to show the variation of color on the Mutabilis rose. My camera does not do it justice……

In bud, it makes you think this is a red and white rose.
Day 1 – The bud opens to a beautiful Pink color with some whtie tones.
By day 3, the bloom has darkened to this beautiful crimson color.
My camera does not capture the true color of this rose.
Together on the bush, the blooms make for a wonderful array of color that brings interest to any garden. It is such a unique rose that has brought great joy to our garden.

  3. >Chris, What an unusual bloom. I love it. I am frequently annoyed how difficult it is to capture the true colors of flowers. One of these days I'll learn more about using my camera. Thanks for your kind comment on my blog! Pam
