Christopher R. VanCleave – America’s Favorite Rose Gardener Nicknamed "The Redneck Rosarian”, Chris VanCleave is passionate about gardening and growing roses.   6. >Jim, This rose won 1st place in the amatuer category at the this years Birmingham Rose Show. My mix for pots is potting soil, garden soil, black kow, sand and small pine bark mulch. Mixed well, it makes a very friable soil. I top coat with more mulch…

    >Gorgeous colors on this rose!! I have purchased many flowers that were about gone from wal-mart and other home stores. As the season starts to wind down they are tempted to throw things out but you can make them into deals.
