>"Mardi Gras" Floribunda

>

I had seen this rose in the catalogs, I was not impressed. When I saw it on the $1.00 rose table at Lowe’s last fall, I thought I’ll give it a try. I had no idea what I was missing! “Mardi Gras”, a floribunda came into bloom this week in my garden. I love the coloring and form of this rose. It has not quite “settled” into my garden, so the jury is still out on growth habit, but thus far it seems to have a dominate hybrid tea quality. I think this rose is a keeper. Anyone else growing this rose?

    >Wow, the color of the rose is gorgeous. I saw some of these last year but they weren't in bloom yet and the color on the tag did no justice to the real thing. And a $1 is such a great deal.
