The Horticulture Division is the backbone of any rose show and allows people who attend to experience a multitude of roses in one place.

The sections of entry outlined here are only a few of the classes in which you may enter your roses. Some of the others are: Floribunda, Grandiflora, Climbers, Modern Shrubs, Old Garden Roses, Miniature and Miniflora. If you grow it, there is a class of entry for it!

Hybrid Tea Roses

If you have a beautiful bloom and ugly foliage, display your rose in this manner.

Miniature Roses – Cycle Of Bloom Entry
In “Bud”, At “Exhibition Stage” & “Fully Open”

Christopher R. VanCleave – America’s Favorite Rose Gardener Nicknamed "The Redneck Rosarian”, Chris VanCleave is passionate about gardening and growing roses. He is an active member of the Birmingham chapter of the American Rose Society, serving two terms as President.   5. >Jenn: I love the roses in crystal too!Lona: Roses are exhibited at "exhibition" stage which is about 1/4 to 1/2 open.Greggo: have you ever seen the movie "best in show"? subtract the dog and add in roses and there you have it…..Deb: so glad to see your post. Sorry you were having trouble posting. Judges are not allowed to judge a show in their hometowns. Guess that keeps them objective. I'm not sure I could ever judge a show. i'd just put a blue ribbon on everything and go home! 🙂
