Buff Beauty – Hybrid Musk
Apricot Blend – Introduced in 1939
ARS Rating – 8.2
This rose has such an interesting color. The photos below were taken at different times of the year. It seems the cooler the weather, the more intense the Apricot coloring.
A Great Rose.

Beautiful rose. I used to grow them in my old garden

Absolutely gorgeous. Oh Chris, the bugs are feasting on my roses. I’ve tried the soap spray, but it hasn’t deterred them. What is your next suggestion? Should I cut off all the eaten leaves? Feeling frustrated!

Bugs also bug me! I try my best not to spray chemical insecticides on my roses. But sometimes, if the infestation is devastating I will spray them with an all purpose insecticide. It is not my favorite option, but it does work. If beetles or mites, you could also try hosing them down with water. I would do this early in the morning of a sunny day. This will allow the leaves to dry out, so no fungal disease can set up. Hope this helps.

It’s a stunning beauty of a rose and very interesting about how its color is affected the cooler it gets. Thanks for sharing with Today’s Flowers. I look forward to seeing more of your gorgeous roses.

I’ve never grown this rose, but your beautiful photos remind me of the polyantha Perle d’Or. I’ve always said that Fall blooms, with the cooler days, makes the colors more intense. Great Post!

Chris, your roses are very beautiful, and with majestic colors and huge blooms. They are more beautiful than the roses in California at the Pasadena rose parade. I just love looking at them. What a wonderful talent you have for growing roses.Roses and sunflower are my favorite flowers.
