Fertilizer Friday – Meet The Austins

It has been a very hot and humid week here in Alabama. Temps in the upper 90’s and heat indexes in the 100’s! Mercifully, we have had several days of afternoon showers and a real good steady rain last night.  This has made for some very pretty blooms! I have several varieties of David Austin English Roses in my garden. All of which are in some state of bloom this week:

  1. those roses are gorgeous! I am so NOT good with them. I never know what to prune or when…and how long to leave things alone…and I end up loving them to death! If I don’t ruin them myself…the cold Alberta winters take them!
I love this slide show…thanks so much for linking them in!

Hi Chris. I adore the Golden Celebration and the Mary Rose. How pretty. My roses are dropping their leaves now because of this heat. Poor things.
