New Roses Planted

It seems I can never drive past Hanna’s Garden Shop without stopping. They have the finest selection of roses in these parts and its always a joy to stop. It seems that my truck just goes on autopilot and I end up right in front of the rose house everytime… This trip my eye was on hybrid teas. I bought two ‘Veteran’s Honor’ and two ‘Opening Night’. This will bring my ‘Veteran’s Honor’ count to three and ‘Opening Night’ is new to my garden. I feel one can never have enough long-stemmed red roses in your garden.

Safely home, I applied my planting techniques for container grown roses and they are now in place in our garden. I can’t wait to see these in bloom next spring! This brings my rose count to 85!

If you want to add 10 more this fall, why not go ahead and get 15 and you’ll be at 100! Then you can celebrate all winter!

I agree with Holleygarden…you may as well just get yourself to 100 before winter! (We’re such enablers, aren’t we?) 🙂
