They may be the last of the season, but a fine crop indeed. The Scentimental name cracked me up…gotta love rose names. Matti

  4. Your roses are gorgeous. I find that the ones in my garden are getting their second wind in our cooler fall weather and are coming on strong as the year winds down.

Hi Chris. That Scentimental bloom has such pretty patterns in it. I cannot believe it is still giving you lovely blooms. I am really liking your Julia Child yellow roses too. I need more room for roses. LOL!

  11. Oh I would just love to see that Julia Child for myself – so many love that variety though I don’t think it is suitable for our scottish climate.

Hi and thank you for your lovely comment on my blog.. Your blogname made me smile and wow, the last roses of the season are looking just fine. I had a lovely visit here with your older posts as well. Nothing like a rose. We are just passing the first flush here of blooms so looking forward to the next!

  13. Haven’t seen such roses in a while! Our corporate roses at my place of work are nice en masse but don’t have that sweet heavy lushness of yours. Maybe I should try a rose or two more in our protected garden area – they do seem to grow well here (if you can keep the critters off them!)
