Blooming Monday – What’s Blooming This Week In My Alabama Garden

I hope everyone enjoyed a glorious Easter Day. We could not have had more perfect weather here in Alabama. Bright sunny skies and temps in the 70’s.  Our English and Old Garden Roses are really blooming this week. Our Floribunda and Hybrid Tea roses continue to put out some growth and we look forward to blooms of those varieties in the near future.

Your amaryllis are beautiful! Buff Beauty and Mutabilis are just gorgeous. Every time I see Golden Celebration, I wonder why this rose is not in my garden! Maybe one day I’ll find just the spot for it. So nice that you had perfect weather for your sweet visitors.

Such pretties. I am referring to the girls. LOL! The China Rose is so lovely Chris. I have my eye on that Buff rose if I can find a spot for it. I planted two new roses today a Midnight Blue and an Eyeconic Pink Lemonade. I am running out of room again. I see more new beds in the future. LOL!

    • One photo is a neighbor and her granddaughter who stopped by for a visit. The other, my lovely bride, who has brightened our gardens for 27 years now….. (did I say that right, honey??….) ha… If you choose Buff Beauty, she is a sprawling thing. Love to spead out but is one to have for sure. Can’t wait to see your Midnight Blue and Eyeconic Pink Lemonade. Had read some about the Eyeconic series, supposed to be some great roses!
