I’ll have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about ordering a rose named for condiments, but its color combination intrigued me and so I ordered three. We planted these around our lamp post on the front lawn. They have grown rapidly since planting them bare root about 6 weeks ago. Today, we see the very first blooms of this beautiful new floribunda.
I label all my roses and when I placed this marker in the bed which is very close to the sidewalk, several neighbors have asked me if that was the real name of the rose.
As you can see, classic rose form on this rose create a near perfect center. As these shrubs mature, I will look forward to entering them in the rose show and sharing them with friends.

That’s just incredible! I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m looking forward to learning more about roses. I love them, but I just don’t have the time to give the hybrids the care they need. I can only have the ones as tough as nails. LOL

I’ve heard this rose mentioned a lot – catchy name – but like you, I was a bit skeptical. Didn’t sound ‘pretty’ to me. But what a stunner it is! Thanks for the picture. I bet this rose almost glows with that gold on the back of each petal.
