Celebrate The Joy That Roses Bring – Prom Week

Its prom season in Alabama. We welcomed a group of young people to our garden today who wanted to take pictures among the roses. We were happy to oblige them. The entourage swept in and in no time at all, they were gone. Just like our youth. When we were there, we thought it would last forever, now i’m just wondering where it went……

This last photo is me and Tina at our Prom. Vintage 1983… My, how times have changed….

  2. Chris, it was prom day here for us as well. We got some photos of my own daughter among the roses at home, and many parents around here flock to the K-State rose garden. It’s nice of you to open your garden to provide memories to the teens and parents!
