Late Summer is upon us and we are now less than 30 days from the official start of Autumn. We are still seeing some very nice blooms on our roses. This next week, I will be giving our roses a much needs pruning in the hope of seeing one final spectacular show of blooms in October. Here in the deep south it is nothing to have blooms from your garden on the Thanksgiving table. A rosarian friend of mine had blooms of Veteran’s Honor hybrid tea roses into December last year…. While the blooms are not at their best, this video still stands as a showcase of the beautiful roses that can be grown in your garden.
