Sunny Knock Out – Shrub Rose
We gifted our next door neighbors with three shrubs of Sunny Knock Out from Star Roses & Plants three years ago. They were in 1 gallon pots. Today, they are robust shrubs that have grown to be 4ft tall and produce pretty yellow flowers that fade to white on the bush. We have two shrubs of these in our garden along with all the other colors of Knock Out in the series. They are hardy disease proof roses that never need spray in our zone 8a garden.

My favorite thing about this rose is that it is fragrant! Color, disease resistance and fragrance, thats the trifecta of rose gardening!!!

This is a wonderful color. Do the other colors have fragrance? I have been thinking I need to plant a few when I run across them but haven’t yet. I recently planted scarlet meidland and now am wondering as I watch it wither in the windy heat.. 😦
maybe the knockouts are for me!
