Dolly Parton – Hybrid Tea – National Rose Month

This is a new rose in our garden but is already turning heads with it voluptuous fragrant blooms.  An orange-red coloration is quite pleasing to look at and I’m told holds up well as a cut flower……

Can’t talk about Dolly Parton HT rose unless we also mention the incredible fragrance. I bought this one for my mother-in-law a few years back because when I walked in the nursery I could smell it from 50 feet away!

Aptly name for a voluptuous lady. I’m sure her perfume is strong too. Gorgeous rose.

  5. I looked at the Dolly Parton at the nursery and passed on it, reading the comments that was a mistake. I am always looking for something that adds fragrance.

    • It is indeed big on fragrance. Being a new rose in my garden I will reserve my comments on its health and over all vigor until next season. But it is a healthy shrub…. Thanks for stopping by
