>October Rose Society Meeting

>

The October meeting of the Birmingham Rose Society was very interesting. It was “Open Forum” night. Anyone could bring your rose questions to be answered by an ARS Consulting Rosarian. There were some good questions and answers. I learned a little about spraying. Also, about organic rose gardening.

Several members brought in blooms from their gardens. It was quite a mini-rose show without all the exhibition jitters!!!!
I took several bloom from my beloved Pink rose bush for identification, no one present could pin point it down. Many said it definately was NOT Queen Elizabeth!
