It’s National Rose Month. There has never been a better time to join the American Rose Society. It is one of our nation’s oldest horticultural societies and is dedicated to assisting gardeners young and old on the cultivation of our National Floral Emblem.

Christopher R. VanCleave – America’s Favorite Rose Gardener Nicknamed "The Redneck Rosarian”, Chris VanCleave is passionate about gardening and growing roses. He is an active member of the Birmingham chapter of the American Rose Society, serving two terms as President.     I love polyanthas, especially pink ones 🙂 for their cheerfulness and bounty of dainty small blooms. Thanks for telling us about the Fairy, such a lovely rose.

    Lovely. I have two polyanthas here. Pink Pet, and a ‘found’ that I think goes back to the Orange Sherbet series. I love them both for being such non needy plants.
